Hey all, I am Jimmy i have an 06 4runner sport V8 2wd. Picked it up from a neighbor for $1800 with 257k miles on it. only issues were a small tear in the seat and an secondary air injection system was bad.
havent been on a forum in ages since i had an 8th gen civic SI (well over 10 years ago). having trouble uploading pics but wanted to say HI!
so far mods have been simple
secondary air bypass kit
5% tint, 55% ceramic on front windshield,
cerakote headlight restoration kit
painted front grill and side mirrors (mirrors had paint chipping)
midland CB radio
kydex molle panel for center console (used for knife, escape tool, and cb
hand mic)
2 USB ports (one by steering wheel, one by center console)
2 additional lighter plugs
Aux cord to rear with input jack (to be used on farm and not have to put phone in the front)
molle visor panel
2019 tacoma off road front suspension with billstein 4600 4runner specific rear shocks
factory replacement tie rods, upper and lower control arms, front and rear sway bar endlinks, upgraded bushing for rear endlinks and sway bar
juggernaut case wireless charging phone mount (used with ram mount parts)
pilot dashcam
rifle and pistol magazine holders in door and on center console
replaced speedo and upgraded LED lights to blue (factory speedo lights did not work).
HVAC lights swapped for blue lights
trauma kit on passenger front seat headrest
in a husky tote in the rear
*multicam pants
*multicam combat shirt
*multicam boots
*equipped battle belt
*chest rig and plate carrier
*rifle (does not stay in vehicle)
future mods
cali raised ditch lights and cb antenna bracket
rear quarter window molle panels
TRD PRO wheels with A/T tires
front and rear emergency light bars (like on police cars)
side emergency lightpods with side and rear flood lights
6 headlight and taillight strobes from whelen
rifle rack over back seat
plastidip whole vehicle in OD green
that is everything planned so far, it will be used for disaster relief and pounding pavement due to being 2wd.
