Hello,
Active duty Marine Corps stationed in Okinawa, just bought a 97 Hilux Surf SSR G. I have been a Ford trucks guy my whole life and this is my first Toyota, but I have heard nothing but great things about them. The truck is clean although has some substantial rust on the undercarriage. Only 110,000 Km's on it. Figure I will hit the rust with wire wheel and clean it up. After looking at some of your posts in here it seems we get these fairly cheap here in Oki, paid $3500 for it. Anyway look forward to checking out some more of the posts and see how this Surf will do.

Currently working on Camp Courtney, it's a bit north of Kinser but I travel down that way for work ah times. So far living Okinawa.

Awesome man. Yeah I know Courtney, Hanson & Schwab, all those northern bases. I spent time working on all of them while I was there and also had freinds and family on them. And also the rifle range up there (Schwab I think). Been a while. Definitely enjoy it and take it all in while you're there. I had a wonderful time and memories I'll have forever.
