I just picked up a 1999 Imperial Jade SR5 to replace my aging 1965 Chevrolet C-10. That old truck is a survivor that has never been upgraded so keeping up with the work she needs is getting to be more time consuming. Also regular cab trucks are not practical when you have 4 kids.
This is my first Toyota so I'll be needing to learn from you guys here. I left her at a customer of mines body shop to get the hood and fender replaced the 4Runner was in a minor collision with only cosmetic damage. I have over 20 years in the collision industry and only found cosmetic damage and one minor 5 minute fix on a bumper mount. I had someone else I know in the industry check it over as well and he only found what I found. I got a very nice deal on the 4Runner that was worth the little bit of collision damage repair costs.
I'll do some minor mods to her nothing extreme not much off roading in Oklahoma and I ride a motorcycle to work and back most of the year so I'm not going overboard

I think I am going to call her Fenway since I am. Red Sox and she is green like the Green Monster at Fenway park
