Hey Everyone,

I don't have a 4runner yet but I hope to have one within the next few months. I have been debating between a 3rd gen sport model 4x4 or a 4th gen (06+) sport/limited 4x4. So far I have been looking for a few months and have not had very much luck finding a 4th gen with lower miles for a decent price.

I've looked through most of the threads comparing the models and am leaning toward the 4th gen. Anyone have any insight on which I should get or where to find good deals on them? Ive checked autotrader and carmax and haven't found anything promising. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! Have u tried cars.com? I like the 3rd Gen body style a lot better, however u can get a V8 in a 4th Gen... Decisions, decisions Also DealsOnWheels.com

Thanks for the reply. I checked cars.com. There are many 4runner sr5 but I am interested in a sport or limited version. I guess people love their 4runners so much they dont want to sell them that often!

When u went on autotrader, how far of a distance did u put? Sometimes u gotta go out a little farther. Cast a wider net so to speak...
