New guy forum question

Alright guys I am brand new around here and I am not trying to ruffle any feathers! This question is out of curiosity, not criticism. How come 1st and 2nd gen 4runners are lumped together in one subforum instead of two? Not enough owners to warrant separate subforums?

Basically yes and no. If you look at the number of new threads for the classic forum compared to any of the other generations, the classics are lacking.
Also the 1st and 2nd gens share a lot of the same parts, so it makes sense to lump them together. the 22re and 3.0 is found in both generations. It helps consolidate the information being shared.
Plus the 1st and 2nd gens are awesome!

I asked the same question until I realized how similar the 1st and 2nd gen 4Runners are... As mentioned, the engines are the same, and most questions are engine related.

Yeah 8 long years to gripe about the 3.0. It would have been cool if they had put the 3.4 in the 95's stock. The 95 T100's had the 3.4's stock and a 2nd gen with the 3.4 from the factory would be legendary. They kind of screwed the 95's over in a sense. They were exempt from the HG recall for some odd reason and missed out on the 3.4.
