New guy from CO

Hi all,

Just saying hello to everyone here. I picked up a '99 SR5 5spd with e-locker 4runner in January after lurking on here for awhile and learning about this run of vehicles. I've already caught the truck up on needed maintenance and am now saving up some money for some extras.

Thanks guys, I'm guessing by the amount of 3rd gens I see driving around Fort Collins, half the town is on here. I'll probably see you around town sometime, I like where your build is headed, I always like when someone takes care of the maintenance first, and then starts adding on.

Thanks. It is my second car so I am not in such a hurry to start modding up like crazy. I agree, there is a ton of 3rd Gens driving around town here, so far have only seen a couple on this forum. What plans do you have for the Runner?

Nothing crazy, RTT, CB radio, more geared towards camping/overlanding. If I win the lottery, a supercharger and plate bumpers with winch, but I haven't bought a ticket in 5 years, so that would be a lucky win. What about yours?

Pretty much the same right now. Want to make this my camping rig, so trying to find 99 Springs for a slight lifts, then armor tires and RTT(eventually). Will probably start camping out of the back of the Runner.
