Hey all,
New to 4Runners (looking to purchase my first), but not new to Toyota trucks.
I'm looking for a '99 or '00 4Runner with the e-locker and multi-mode awd system.
As an original owner of a '95 Tacoma V6/auto that I've modded for mild wheeling, I hope to be able to contribute occasionally on various topics.

I was one of the early guys over on TTORA-back when it was Tacoma Territory, but I've fallen off the map over there with marriage, kids, mortgage, etc.
Like most of us, life gets in the way of certain things. With the kids reaching elementary school age, I really hope to reintroduce backwoods adventure to them-but want a capable SUV to accomplish that in...thus me darkening your doorstep here

If anyone finds a 4Runner matching my description above for sale in the mid-Atlantic region-let me know!!

I know what you mean about life getting busy with the family. I have had my T4R for over 10 years but it hasn't been till the last few years that i have done most of the modding. That is because our kids are around 6 as well.

I'm REALLY hoping to tell you all that I found my new 4Runner-but don't plan to, "settle" for one just to get it. This may take a few weeks, but I WILL be happy when I do buy it!
