Hey everyone.

Last night I became the proud owner of a 2000 Toyota 4Runner. I have been a passenger in a few of these things, and I see them all over the place. I have always been a fan but I have never had a need for something like this, until now.

I have recently been working on old cars and hauling stuff around so I needed something with decent towing capabilities but at the same time I wanted to try and keep my mileage at 20 MPG or so.

I also want reliability, so of course the 4Runner popped up in my searches right away. Now I own one. :)

I'll post photos when I have a chance to really get ou tand shoot them. I have literally only owned this thing for like 12 hours.... lol

I am a car nut to the core. Big cars, small cars, fast, slow, I love them all. I am an automotive photographer and my love for all things car shows in my work.

I have another vehicle I like to tinker with as well. A 1955 Dodge C3-B 1/2 ton pickup. It's rusty, it's crusty, but it's all original and I drive it that way.

230cid flathead 6 cylinder engine, 3 speed column shifted manual transmission, and 6V positive ground electrical. It's fun.

Oh yeah, one more thing.

The first thing I will be searching for on this forum is how to fix the window in the tailgate. This truck is in perfect shape except that window.

The window rolls up and down, but you roll it more than half way down and it comes off it's tracks. I guided it back into place and will leave it closed until I get it fixed.
