New guy from OH

Hello Everyone,

I have been checking out this site since we started looking for 4runners over the winter. I got lucky yesterday, and tonight we took delivery of our first "runner". I was able to locate a one owner 97 Limited for a great price, and couldnt pass it up. 175k miles, bone stock, timing belt/water pump done, every option except e-locker from what i can tell, and zero body rust. My wife will be doing most of the driving with the munchkins, but i will be towing jet skis in the summer. I can honestly say we are extremely happy!!! no pics uploaded yet, it was dark when we got home. I have read all the FAQ, but dont be surprised to see a bunch of dumb questions...time to figure out the first things to do it.

Glad to hear you got a steal. If you have an auto you should check strawberry milkshake. It should be high on your list as a maintenance item.

i read up on it before purchase...this one had zero signs of it, but you never know i guess. from what i know i need to replace the radiator, and add an aftermarket trans cooler asap. time for me to get the tools ready, and search the how to articles.
