Good to know, primer - wish I knew them when lowering and doing suspension work to the Acura - would have come in real handy. I'll definitely keep them in mind on future needs though. What's your buddy's name?

From everything I've read, Xenon Depot is good stuff. Haven't heard anything about ballasts going bad like that except with a buddy of mine who had some flea market crap in his frontier. But for hallogen replacements. Silverstar bulbs are good, I plan on those for high beams with 4300K lows.

Does your buddy's shop have a touchless tire install machine? New wheels are in the future and I dont want the dumb@$$es at discount screwing up my stuff again. Flat black wheels are a little more noticeable then polished aluminum

10-4. NEVER go any higher temp than 4300K IMO - I tried and switched back soon thereafter. Add some HID fogs and you'll light up whatever you're pointing at for sure.

I agree with that. Plus I'm not looking into Ricer Blue for my headlamps anyways. As far as fogs, I haven't decided if I want to go HID with those too, or just get an LED that matches the 4300K. But that will depend on the $$ in my pocket at the time of ordering.
And I'll have to check out cherokee tires. I got a price from 4wheel parts today here in Marietta. Quoted me 1600 for 285/75/17 BFG M/T KM2's. I thought that price was a bit high, so I'm going to keep looking around. I'd really like 305/65/17's but the guy at 4wheel told me he wouldn't sell me those cause I can't clear him. Well I know they fit, cause others here have used em. Not sure why most of the 4wheel shops I've talked to all have idiots that no nothing to work there.

I was on my second transmission and it was on the way out. It threw a couple codes before the accident.

I am pretty sure he doesn't have touchless tire machine. I know they are very careful with their work, as anyone would be when you are personally responsible. I know it would be easier for an employee of a national company to not care as much about his/her work becuase if something is damaged it doesn't come out of their pay. I know all about this being a small business owner myself.

I don't know about being a small business own, but I do work at a very small bike shop so I know what it's like in a sense. But I'll have to check them out when I comes time to get new shoes and soles.

Seeing how there are a lot of people in GA on this thread this reply is for all of y'all.
Do any of y'all want to help me install a lift? I am in Atlanta as well and would rather not pay for instalation cost. PM me if you can help or know anyone that can.

I'd be willing to help, but it'll have to be after Christmas realistically before I am free. I've never lifted a vehicle, but have lowered more than a dozen in my driveway (most were done by me without any help). Can't be that hard, right?

It's exactly the same. Disassemble and reassemble with new parts. :cheers:
Just be sure to soak EVERYTHING in PB Blaster for a few weeks leading up to it.

Deed - make sure you do this for sure. Makes the job much easier and reduces your risk of braking bolts.

On the bolts that need to be removed. You are 2007, so there shouldn't be much rust at all. I'd do it each day for 5 to 7 days before the planned install. I have breaker bars that we can use as well. I do not anticipate any problems though.
