Finally got 15 posts without whoring myself around here.

Bit of an intro, I am a young C-17 pilot living in Philly. From Charlotte, NC and went to college there at UNCC. Moved to Del Rio, TX in 2013 for pilot training, and just got to Philly in September.

Now about my gearhead credentials, been a Honda-head since I was 16. Bought a 1993 Accord and did a lot of things to it chronicled here: The G-Man : 1993 Accord LX - CB7Tuner Forums

Drove that daily until September 2012 when I bought a 2006 Civic sedan, it's completely stock. I still have the Accord, but it currently isn't running and is in storage in NC.

Then in January 2015 I was notified I won a brand new truck, the contest made me pick out a custom build truck, and I got it in March of this year. I drove it around Texas until the middle of my move when I decided to sell it (the contest made me owe the IRS a lot of money) so I bought my 4Runner from my father-in-law for cash out of what I got for the truck. It helps to have a smaller vehicle when you are living in the city, and older for less attraction to thieves. As you can tell, I was a very active member in the CB7Tuner community, and still have several friends there.

It's a completely stock 2005 Sport Edition 4x4 V6.

Congrats on the purchase. Just curious, how was it going from a bigger truck to the Runner? I sold my truck recently and am really looking into getting a 4runner and was wondering how the transition was. Good looking rig, excited to see what the future holds!

I have always been a Tacoma type but finally broke down and broke the bank and ordered a new 4R Limited. Will likely have the rear seats folded for most of my rides just so it has a little of the pick up feel. Hope I don't find myself missing the utility of the bed but just wanted a snazzier ride for those times when we go for road trips and work is not the purpose.

It wasn't bad but too be fair I wasn't in dire need of a full size truck. The 4Runner has plenty of room for my needs.

Fold the seats down and you would be surprised how much room is in there

good looking rig. congrats on the purchase. i agree. at first, i was surprised too that my 4runner is spacey. I needed to help my friend to move some things on her apartment. i folded the seats down and put few boxes in.
