New guy! Keyfob or remote start install?

Finally found my 4R, a black '03 SR5 with almost no options, 52k on it, very very nice price. It was at auction with a frame damage disclaimer, so it went pretty cheap. The frame damage was slight and well repaired, when it was 3 months old. It's been bouncing around auctions for a while, dealers just can't unload it with that on the CarFax.

I need spare keys and a keyfob. Keys I'll just get at a dealer, but keyfobs are looking very pricey. I can get a remote start for about the same money, and I'd like one, so that may be my direction. Any recommendation? How well do they integrate with the factory alarm? Do I need a spare key somehow in the system? Can the trunk opener features be used to open the rear window?

I don't mind doing an install, the wiring looks pretty straightforward, or are they best left to experts?

I'd just pickup a viper system. A stereo shop or best buy could do the install and integrate it with everything in the vehicle.

i have a real cheap 150 installed, alarm/remote start that works fine for me. i do have to keep a key under the dash in a lock box, & had them program my factory fob so i still had use of the rear window button, so it can be done, u just have to ask, & decide which fob to use.
