New guy--old T4R

By way of introduction--my 1999 SR5 was a retirement gift from to myself. It now has 258K on it and I think I'll keep her!

The vehicle is original and has only minor fender-bender repairs--unusual in the Washington DC area. It has been rigorously maintained and the only add-on is drawer type lock box in the rear and a replacement stereo. It has a 5-speed and manual 4WD. It does not have the electric locker rear--those all went to the sandbox.

It's primary mission is getting me around the East coast and towing an EZGO--all up weight on tow is about 1200 pounds. I do not play golf--I am a competition shotgun shooter and instructor.

My want list is to find a Toyota electric locker for it and rear disk brakes. My off-roading is mostly plowed fields and poor roads, so I do not need more ground clearance--well maybe an inch or so. I would not mind putting a little longer gears in it--it gets busy towing at 70+ MPH. After that my goal is to keep it on the road forever.

Any guidance on how to use the forum would be appreciated as well as any advice on my T4R.
