Hello Everyone.

I'm new to this forum and just recently purchased a 2000 SR5 4x4 with RR lock diff., TRD S/C, TRD exhaust, and a K&N air filter. It has roughly 86000 miles on it and seems to be running well. I'm very excited about owning my first T4R, but am curious as of servicing it. Especially the S/C. I also need a new kit to change my spare tire. Any idea of where to pick something like that up and how much?

I have taken my T4R to the dealership after my CEL came on to change the MAF sensor already, but wont do that again after reading up on how to clean it myself. Thanks to a few of you.

I want my T4R to last a good while and would love any and all advice you might have to help me out with this.

hit 'scheduled maintenance' at the top and look over whats coming up -- has your timing belt been done yet? it should be around 90K.

also, how many miles are on the SC?

Check out ebay for the tire changing components. If not there, try some local junkyards.

thanks for the links and advice. the S/C history, from what I was told, is that it came installed with the original purchase of the vehicle. so...i would have to say it has roughly the same amount of milage as the 4Runner itself.
