Hey all..

I just picked up an 06 4Runner this past weekend. I've been looking for one for awhile and finally found one in my price range. Needless to say I love the thing.

Anyway, I've been browsing this forum for awhile and I'm pretty familiar with it for a noob.

One thing I couldn't find though is a database of vendors. Places where we can get aftermarket parts for this generation of 4Runners. From what I've seen the aftermarket is pretty limited for the v6 4x4 (or I could be wrong).

A little side note about myself - I'm a manager at a Toyota dealership in the body shop so if anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to PM me.

I'm also an admin on a Dodge Avenger website so I've been around the "car forum" thing for awhile.

As far as aftermarket stuff is concerned there's actually a fair amount out there. There is no concise vender guide that I have found beyond this post. Partznet can get you all kinds of stuff. Burtman Industries has good stuff and there's many others. What are you looking for?

What's helpful to know about the T4R is it shares much DNA with the FJCruiser so many FJC mechanical things work.

I know the 4.0 is a popular engine with the mid size SUV's and Tacoma's. I've been reading that the TRD supercharger wouldn't work on a 4Runner though?

Basically what I'm looking for is the initial intake/exhaust type mods. I do like to get a bit more involved with them and truth be told I'm a power guy. I know a 4x4 v6 Runner will never be a drag car but it never hurts to have more grunt.
