There is a thread on the site which lists the parts needed to install 06 projector style lights into a pre 03-05. In addition to the headlight assembly, you need: New bulbs, wiring pigtail for the drl (or directional) and the notched filler piece below the headlight.

Rook, thanks a lot that is exactly what I have been looking for. Now I just need to find the piece below the headlight that comes in the Salsa red. I hope to have this mod done by the end of the year.

Also for anyone that cares I was looking at pricing of things last night for parts and this is a rough estimate of what things would cost

headlight assembly - left and right = $230 total
2 wiring harness = $40
HID Kit from Xenon Depot The Xtreme set= $175 Volt HID with harness would be $120
Bumper filler pieces below headlight - left and right = $60

Part numbers are on the thread Rook sent me on page 5 I think.

Since ebay auction links expire, I'd recommend you head over there and search 2006 4Runner Headlight and there will be several vendors selling them.

Partznet.com offers good prices on oem.

RockAuto.com sells aftermarket headlight assemblies from various mfr's prices ranging 135-170/ea. Rock auto's search function is javascript, I dont know how to post the links. Search under Body Exterior -> headlamp assembly

I dont understand why people cant even do a simple search?
It makes me think if they are too lazy to type a few words/numbers in a search box they surely wont do a mod/repair. I mean really folks are you this damn lazy on here....:couch2:
