new head unit and speakers, or just new head unit?

Well I am in the process of upgrading my stock speakers in my 02' 4Runner. Would it sound a lot better if I get a new head unit? I was also thinking aobut replacing just the front speakers, and keeping the back ones stock. Will that sound good? Any other ideas?

It won't sound any better with just new speakers...You def. need to replace your radio first or all at once.
