Howdy all.
I bought a bone stock, white, 4th gen., 2 years ago. It has been a great vehicle.
I now want to upgrade the wheels and tires to lose the soccer-mom look and butch it up a bit. My son just got a '15 TRD PRO in white, and the look with the black wheels is the way I want to go.
I have been feeling a softening in the front suspension, and the dealership says the front struts are weakening. Since i have to replace components I the front anyway, it sounds like a great time to start with upgrades.
I want to keep ride comfort and improve road handling. I don't do much 4x4, only when weather conditions require it. My budget for this initial step (wheels and front suspension) is $500. I do all of my own wrenching.
I would appreciate any help y'all can provide since I am starting from scratch here. I'm continuing to search the board for applicable posts. From my initial looking, it appears I want a stormtrooper look.
