New here, have a couple questions

I have recently bought my first 4runner. It's an 06 sr5 v6. I want to lift it and put some new tires on it. Everything is stock right now. I was looking at the toytec 1in body lift, and also am interested in the revtek 3in front and 2 1/2 in rear. Heres where i need some help. Do I still want a body lift if im getting the 3in suspension lift, or do I want a leveling kit with? What advice can you offer with lifting it?

What size tires are you going to run? I would suggest getting the suspension lift (in this case the Revtek) first, and if you need more clearance for your tires then get the body lift. The Revtek, and almost every other "lift" kit made, is also a leveling kit. Most every kit will lift the front more than the rear to reduce the amount of rake. What are your goals, are you lifting for looks or for off road performance? How many miles? If too high, you may want to consider replacing the shocks while you're in there.

I went to discount tire yesterday and was told the biggest I could go without a suspension kit is 265 70r-17. Is that true? I'd like to go bigger. My goal is to mainly make it look good, I will be taking it off road also. It has 80k.

Have you ever heard of the revtek? I also don't want it too high, I just want to get it off the ground a couple inches from some sort of lift and then add some tires. I read your thread about the suspensions, should I maybe try to go with the FJ springs?
