Like the title says, I am new here and we just towed home a 1990 Toyota 2nd Gen 4Runner as a new project/toy. She is a V6, 5 Speed, 4.56 fully locked rear diff. on a 4.5" lift with 35's on steel wheels. Her purpose in life at this point will just to be driven in the mud and trails.
She starts (with a jump) and drives. The clutch is a weak so we will have to manhandle the tranny out and put a new one in. Brakes are weak but it has all new calipers/pad/rotors on the front so we will have to investigate what the issue is there.
I am looking forward learning a lot and will be asking a lot of dumb questions since this is our first Toyota.
I am going to try to post a couple of pics. She looks pretty rough, hasn't even had a bath yet, front bumper is in the back. She has some dings and a some cancer (rust) damage but it's not too bad for a toy
