Hi all, found this site as I was shopping for my 06. Picked it up yesterday, white 06 SR5 4x4 with the following options:

17s
roofrack
moonroof
daytime running lights
rear cover
carpeted mats and first aid kit
leather wrapped stearing wheel w/ controls
tow pkg
chrome exaust

This is our first 4Runner but so far quality and ride are awesome. Needless to say I'll be visiting this site frequently.

I'll post picts when I get them.

Welcome and you'll find that:

1. folks here are very knowledgable. I have learned so much about my car from them.

2. folks here are very nice. No flammers, no egos, no a-holes. Just a bunch of good folks who will jup in to help you out.

3. Your 4Runner will be an extremely well made SUV. The quality is outstanding. I have 33,000 miles almsot ZERO problems--that is if you can call replacing a sheared wheel lug from changing a flat tire a defect.

4. I can't spell worth a poop and have the worse typing dyslexia.

Congratulations on your new 4Runner! I picked my '05 up a little over 3 months ago and haven't put it down since. It's TOO fun to drive, it's hard for me to go back and use my older '91 Acura Integra for the daily commute across the bay. Have fun with your new truck!

If I may suggest, you might want to give it a good wash, then CLAY the paint (long and laborious but SO WORTH IT), and give it a good polish and wax. Who knows how long it has been sitting outside the stealer's lot unprotected before you took delivery.

It looks great in white! I think the silver accents blend in well.

Nice and clean look. Try to keep it as clean as possible. Any dirt will be markable on white color. Congratulations!!!
