Just recently found the site on Google. I thought I'd post a pic of my '05 4Runner. I didn't buy it for a lot of off roading, as it will spend 90% of it's life on the road, but we do go up to the mountains of Georgia, NC and Tenn. 1-2 times per year and that is why I bought it. I traded in my '04 Trailblazer on it and must say that the 4R is twice the truck as the TB was in most areas.

It has leather, moon roof, power everything pretty much, wing, 18'' wheels with Michelin "Cross Terrain" tires. Anyway, here's some pics of it I took today.

How does the 4.0L V6 compare to the I-6 in the TrailBlazer you had? Just curious.

Well, I was expecting a loss of power. Instead, I feel a gain! The TB's power seems to all be in the high RPM's and it feels really sluggish at low speeds or taking off from a light. The 4R being much lighter and still having close power (30 less than the TB's if you go by specs) it actually feels quicker.

I also like the 4R's transmission a lot better! I love the 5 speed automatic. It makes a world of difference!
