Hi All,

Im new here but Ive had my 4 Runner for about a year. It is a 2002 SR5. I havent really done much with it except for the front lights and a new stereo.

From what I have been reading here this is a great board with alot of great people and great info. Ive been very happy with my Runner - its an awesome truck!

Some things I want to do but I have some questions:

1. 265/75/16 tires - Can I put these on with no mods at all?

2. 1999 springs - I know these will give about an inch of lift - can I do this with no other mods at all? Will the truck need an alignment after?

Here is a pic:

1) Yes, 9/10 times you will have no rubbing issues either, small chance depending on tire

2) You can put the 99 springs for an inch of lift without any mods at all. Yes, to be safe I would get an alignment just to save your tires.

Welcome to the boards, also try www.yotatech.com/f2 for more tech information. good luck!

so if i run 265/75/16 and remove my running boards i should be good for mine? my runner is basically used for street with an occasional offroad trip (no mud or snow though)

i know my model is the "low rider" so i was curious about this as well

yup, most can run them with the running boards but for extra assurance take em off, and plus they look like doo doo once the mods start going on

Here's my truck with full OEM suspension which is fine for most intermediate trails but another inch or two would be nice.
