New(?) Homelink option for those that didn't get it factory

Came across this tonight and had not seen it on the site before, but I know others have been looking for other options for getting an OEM style garage door opener. I think it might be the same cost as a new over head console for SR5, but for the TRD ORs this is cheaper than an new OHC.

Also curious if anyone already has one and comment on how easily it fits in one of the empty switch spots.

Been checking about once a week and it is slowly dropping in price around ebay. Down to $134.95, still not low enough for me to justify yet...if you have ebates can get 6% back as well.

This is a really cool find...that being said, why not just install a Homelink mirror? I had the dealership do it as part of the deal, but it looks plug-n-play, and it's easier to use than the one in our Avalon. Or is that a thread I didn't see?
 
I ordered from Ebay so 114 shipped. I can be the guinea pig on this one. I've got so much good info from this forum, time for me to pay back a bit. Supposed to be here by the 7th.

I have a broadway mirror so not an option for me as I cannot part with it.

I have not heard of wikibuy...and searched around but could only find it for $149.
 
It took me a while, but I finally got an overhead console with homelink on eBay from a wrecking yard seller for $179. It didn’t have its Crawl Control section. Most were more so patience payed off. It came from a Trail, or Off Road premium.

Was a very quick, easy swap & just used my Crawl Control knobs.

Your Runner didn't come with 3 programmable buttons near the crawl control for garage doors? They are there so you can program your gate, garage and someone elses gate or garage if needed.
 
Got mine in the mail today...definitely NOT plug and play, of course-that would have been too easy. I think I can coax it in with a little shaving down of the opening. I need to wait until this weekend for more time and light.

Just link it like a regular garage door opener. One of the remotes would not sync unit the 30th attempt.
