Im looking into getting a new Air Intake System. I am looking for some input on which one too buy, at this point in time money is not an option for an Intake system. I am just wondering what everyone has on the T4R ?

Do some searching for deckplate mod. Best option is deckplate mod, airraid intake and a good dry high flow filter replacement. If you offroad this gives a good intake that wont let water in. I have a high flow intake thats open and my buddy has k&n full intake. We both have sucked water in.

If not all the other ricer intakes work pretty good and cost a pretty penny.

Yeah I have AirRaid on my 2013 Tundra, I really dont use it for off roading and all that Jazz. But I was thinking of Air Raid.

I have been happy with my AirAid intake. Way more induction noise when on the throttle though. But great quality and easy to take on and off when needed. I have also heard people have been getting better gas mileage putting snorkels on. This one has been popular the past year on with thew forum guys.

Nice, they are good to keep the water out. I have sucked water in on the road on a rainy day hitting a puddle. Im going to do the deckplate mod. Cut my cheap ebay intake pipe down into my home made airraid and call it a day. Hydrolock would not be fun.

Check out the links in my signature, I spent some time researching this. The deckplate mod is the best and most cost effective intake you can make for your 4Runner, whether it's supercharged or not.

If you're going for sound rather than performance (I realize some people are into this) then Airaid is a good kit.

I run the stock airbox with a deckplate mod and the Airaid intake. If you go this route don't forget to pull the fuse for the ECM so it can reset and adjust for the larger amount of air.

Thanks. I think I am going to do the deckplate mod, I really do want the sound and like I stated before I have a Airaid on my 2013 4runner and love it. We will see Updates to come.
