New LC coils!

I just got my fj80 8 wrap coils in the mail! I can't wait to put them on but I'm still waiting for a deal on a front lift :(. Any one wanna sell me something? Haha

Congrats on the FJ coils! Check out the TRD Tundra lift for your front, you can get the parts at a local wrecking yard....

Ok i read the sticky and ****. But I'm just not getting it.. Ok so I get coils (spring) off of an fj80 BUT what shock do I use?!?! Shouldn't that be specified in the holy sticky everyone always *****es about people going to. So yeah? Could by what shocks?!?!

You can use stock landcruiser shocks. You can use Bilstein 5100 and 5125. You can use Monroes (wouldn't recommend it). There are TON you can use.

Why has no one in the word said this!! THANKS!!! So all I gotta do is get the whole shock and coil assy,,, essentially the strut

for the rear you its not a coil and shock assembly like the front, the rear coil and shock are located at different locations. but yes you would need new rear shocks before installing the lc coils. i think you can also use rear tundra shocks or HD Bilstein shocks but i would double check.
 
we use the FRONT LC coils on the REAR of our 4runners. and we use the REAR LC shocks on the REAR of our 4runners. maybe this will help some.?
