New lift and CBI bumper on my '07 Limited

Yeah man I feel your pain!!!!! I could NOT keep my Discovery out of the shop. My list of problems and repairs was endless!

I had 4 over the years, took me along time to learn that lesson, lol.

The OME lift is all Nitro Charger.

The OME coils are heavy duty. part #2886 and 2896

The OME shocks are part # 9000 and 6005

love the rig, love the color of the wheels, I just personally cant stand fuel rims.
theyre so common around here, its like they give em away with every roll of copenhagen or luke bryan CD.

So I finally got a 3inch OME suspension lift and added Fuel Assault wheels and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I also added a CBI rear plate bumper and I'm happy with the way it looks.
RSG sliders are next!

How are those Nitto's.. I almost went with those but got the Cooper STT Pros instead.. also that rear bumper looks great!!

I can't seem to find this info for certain... maybe you can answer.

Can the spare still fit in the stock location under/behind the bumper?

I'm thinking about putting the CBI bumper without the swing arm on my 4th gen and daily-driving it with the spare underneath. But on the 4-5 times per year we manage to get out on any trails, I'm thinking I'd use something like a Hitchgate.

I'm hesitant to have a swing arm permanently installed; I imagine it would be annoying if me or my wife had to open it every time we want to open the tailgate.

I guess a second question could be: Or am I being ridiculous? Is it no big deal to have a bumper with an integrated swing arm?

I ran into this problem. I have the V8 with the tow package hitch and my spare does not fit. With the V6 the hitch is different and part of the bumper not a separate mount like the V8. I have read that people can fit a 285 under the V6 with some persuasion.

Swing outs are pretty annoying unless they are set up really well. You will probably end up rolling down the rear window or using the rear seats for cargo storage unless it's really easy to latch/unlatch.
