Looks good man!

What kind of lift and what size tires did you go with? I just ordered my lift and tires 2 nights ago and getting everything put on next Saturday. I can't wait! Glad to see another 2wd getting the lift treatment too!

Do you have any rubbing with the 33s? I considered going with the Daystar spacers, but i'm already pretty much sitting on my bumpstops in the rear so I went with the Complete OME 3" lift coils and new shocks. I'm hoping I don't have any/much rubbing with the Duratracs in 285s.

nope none what so ever :)

now I have some questions and concerts.

1. On the freeway it kinda feels like its moving back and forth I don't really know how to describe it in more detail.
2. I know the breaking isn't as strong, any suggestions?
3. About regearing how much does that run?

Did you get an alignment?

Check sway bar bushings and end links. Mine were shot from front to rear causing me to be a little unstable on paticularly bumpy roads. Had me feeling like I was all over the place.
Once I replace said parts The truck is solid once agian. BLEH

EDIT: WHEN I did replace said parts the truck rides solid once agian!

1) You need to get an alignment after a lift because it changes your suspension geometry. If you already did, bring it back to them and have them do it again, right this time (A LOT of shops suck ass at aligning, they just take your $$).
2) Tundra brake upgrade -search, it's covered a lot.
3) Gears are expensive, I'd figure on around $2000 with the parts and labor. You can do it cheaper if you can remove your own 3rds, but that is still way more complicated than installing a lift so I doubt you want to try that route.

you were absolutely right about the alignment, they were so off I couldn't believe it, PEP BOYS....refunded me the 70 bucks they charged and tried to fix it, I have yet to drive the freeway I will post results after. Do you guys think if I do the Tundra brake upgrade from a Toyota dealer would they install them? I have stock brakes rotors from the dealer and was wondering exactly what parts I would need, anyone have a list?

you're thinking for 2 axles i'm guessing, and he's 2WD.

You're right, I missed that he's 2wd, so yeah to regear will be way less because the rear is the easier of the 2 diffs to do. I'd say $8-900 if you have a shop do it, cheaper if you get one from eastcoastgearsupply.com and R&R the 3rd yourself. That's the best way to go IMO because they send you the new 3rd, you swap it out and send your stock 3rd back to them for a core. Plus they set up the gears for you so you don't have to worry about whether or not some shop is going to do it right, eastcoast does it all day long and are very good at it.
