New lift/tires and roof rack installed

Just got done installing my Toytec ULK, 285/75/16 Duratrac's, and Rola roof rack. Just thought I would share pics. Got the Toytec superflex rear springs, and 5100s all the way around. Duratrac's are off my old Tacoma and mounted on Pro-comps 7089's. And I made some mounts similar to the ATO Rola roof rack mod so that the rack would sit level.

Should be able to test out the setup tomorrow, and hopefully we will get a little rain.

Thanks guys . The rack is Rola Vortex with the extension. I got it on etrailer.com and I believe it was 250 or somewhere around there. You can tell it is not a $500+ rack, but I love it and an very happy with it.

What did you do to make the rack flush? Is the rack easily removed if desired?

I made 4 brackets out of 3x3x1/4" angle, then cut down one of the sides giving me a final dimension of 1x3x1/4" bracket. Then drilled a few holes for mounting the bracket to the roof rails, and to put a U-bolt around the roof rack to attach to the bracket. It can be removed, but is kind of a pain. The brackets and mounting set up is almost identical to this thread.

How much clearance do you have with those tires on? I would like to go with the same size but on 17" rims. Not sure if they will rub or not.

Looks great. 2 questions...Do you have the front 5100s on the highest lift notch? I thought Limited's came with the bigger brakes and that you could not fit 16" wheels?

Alex56 - the rear and the front are both completely level suspension wise as the center of hub to fender is 23" all the way around. If i measure ground to fender, it actually says the rear is higher by an inch Not sure how that works out lol, plus the springs were such a royal pain in the ass I dont know if I would want to try and squeeze them in there.

Desert Fox - The clearance is really good. Not touching the body mount, A-arm, or the painted front fender. I had to remove the mud flap, and chop a good portion off the front inner black liner but that was it. In normal driving/turning I am not rubbing at all, but haven't tested it off-road yet. I think all that is possible due to the BS of 4.5 and Offset 0mm on the rims. It seems more people have rubbing issues using stock wheels.

Phishtaco - I have the toytec coilovers so the 5100s are at the stock notch I believe. Some Limited's did come with larger brakes, some did not. It seems like the early build 03's had the smaller brakes which mine was built in late 02. The larger calipers have a "WH" cast in them, mine had "WG" so they were the smaller ones.
