I took to Big bend again..it performed flawlessly even the outside was 98 + in April....!!! hehehe
I got it mine in November 2002..
already 12,000 miles on it...
loving it...
it is an amazing truck...
P.S.
2 Infiniti FX45 tried to challenge me while i was in big bend...
They ate my dust...!!!heheeheh

This is actual HID

Yes it is actual HID system, made by CATZ who actually makes OEM HID for most of the Japanese cars that come with HID from the manufacturer (Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, and so on)
It's a very high quality package, all made in japan, fits our 9006 lights perfect with a nice beam pattern

DO you have a link or a price on that kit? I was thinking of buying one of the philips balast and bulb kits from suvlights, they run about $470 i think for the 9006.

Hey PWR, i haven't bought the 5 tire yet, 'cause i am still debating if i like this tire in 265/70/17. I got 30 days to make up my mind

I guess if I keep them, then I will have to get the 5th one. The only complain I have right now is that I noticed I lost some of the acceleration, maybe I am just seeing things. But I could swear 0-60 times are worse and more sluggish. Could that be true?

About Revos
Just found this link on the Japanese version of Bridgestone Tire website http://www.bridgestone.co.jp/tire/dueler_at694/index.html
Notice anything? - these are freaking Revos available in our size 265/65/17 and the ones I actually wanted 275/65/17.
Why is it always like that, US is the last one to get cool stuff
Maybe soon they'll bring them here, I will be the first in line at a Bridgestone dealer

Hi kids! :hello:
new guy here. i've been lurking for some time now, and this post caught me.
i got my new 4runner pretty dirty at Hollister Hills last week. in fact, i'm still cleaning it. The water bowl seemed like such a good idea at the time. :twak:
I've already spent about an hour with with a damp rag in the engine compartment. still looks like crap with that brown spooge covering everything.
Don't do this at home, kids.
But it's clean on the outside now...after running throught the carwash twice, hitting it with a pressure washer, and running it through a third time.
Ah well. At least I won't worry about the first time a shopping cart hits it. :bandito:
I have fewer than 1300 miles on it. Looks like 100K, huh?
Anyway. You guys are driving me freakin' bonkers. Last night I had dreams of liftkits, lights, tires, wheels, racks, bullbars, bumpers, skidplates, and xm radios. Geez...you kids are as bad as BMW motorcycle riders.
I'm probably going to get the 265-65-17 revos on tomorrow. The stock H/T's were better than expected, but I became overwhelmed with fear that I was going to pop one of them as I climbed up McCroy road to Hector Heights (hollister). So it's either T/As or Revos. I can get the Revos in the stock size, which is good. I have to go up a size to get the T/As...and they're not as good on the street. Since I'll probably settle-in to more highway than offroad, I'll opt for the Revos. Then maybe a set of steel 16" wheels with MTRs on 'em. :thumb:
Do they come in a size that fits without a lift?
In closing, thank you all very much for the great forum and for the bazillion words and opinions I've already read. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the general body of knowledge sometime after I get more than 2k miles on my truck.
