Hi everyone, I'm Jason and I live just outside Raleigh, NC. I have been trying to purchase a 98 from a friend and coworker since the first time I saw the truck. After a couple years of harassment, I finally brought it home today after she "upgraded" to a larger new vehicle. I'm still learning the trim levels and options on these, so sorry if some of this is repetitive.
98 4Runner SR5, 3.4, 4WD, 5 speed.

It has a lot of wear and tear from 13 years of transporting a family, but mechanically it seems solid.
I get a lot of info from forums in my other hobbies, so I look forward to spending some time here. Feel free to point me to any "must know" info or tips. I usually can't leave anything alone, so there will probably be some mods in the future. I originally wanted to get the truck to tow a small trailer, but at this point, it will probably become a daily driver.
