Hey everyone!
Been a long time lurker and decided to join up. I have been a 3 time Toyota owner going back to an 01 Tacoma TRD supercharged, 03 Tundra TRD supercharged and lastly an 07 Tundra TRD supercharged. I don't own any of these anymore, unfortunately. I traded in my 07 in 11 for a F350 Dually Diesel. My daily driver is just a Subaru Impreza. My wife just started back up in the job market after a 7 year hiatus being a stay at home mom raising two kids. I told her if she gets on full time we will get her a vehicle that is more suitable for daily driving instead of the F350 which she is driving now.
Anyways, so I have been bouncing around between a Tacoma, 4runner and Wrangler Unlimited. I honestly think the 4runner would suit us best and has the most room. I really wish they offered the Trail with the 3rd row because then it would be a no brainer.
One option would be to buy a Trail and add a Little Passenger seat to it for the 3rd row. Another option would be to just buy an SR5 with the 3rd row and add some ARB lockers. To me the Base Trail is a better deal as there is less than 1k difference between a base SR5 with 3rd row and base Trail. We still have a couple of months before anything happens and really enjoy reading all the stuff on this forum.
