I have been lurking for a long time, and getting great advice from this forum. Since we are just about to begin some serious work on our 2000 4runner limited, thought it was time to join in.
Right now, our rig is pretty much stock. We are scheduled to get a minor lift with an Old Man Emu suspension system and an ARB bumper with winch installed in a couple weeks. We will be getting some new BFG 265/75-16 A/T KO2 tires next month. Planning on upgrading the brake systems to the Tundra brakes soon.
This is just the start of what we figure will be a couple year project to get our rig set up for some great Overland adventures in the Southwest.
The only "mod" we have on the rig currently is a sleeper platform I designed that is modular and can be left in the car with the back seats up, work with the back seats folded down, or for longer trips where we need storage, can work with the back seats removed allowing for greater storage area under it.
Picture was taken during the NW Overland Rally in Paige WA, where we got a lot of great ideas on how to spend our money!
