Not cool. I had my car windows broken over a bag of groceries in front seat or even just parked in the car port. Looks like the city is still the same.
That sucks! Hopefully you can get insurance to cover it. I used to have a Dodge Durango that was a 2000. I updated the sound system in it and had a nice box with subs and amps in the back and anytime I went downtown here in Utah I was always worried that was going to happen. This world is going to pot. :flame:
Just picked up my 2017 last Sunday! I'm from the San Jose area so look forward to meeting other bay area 4Runner enthusiasts. My very first car out of college back in 1991 was a 1991 4Runner! Had it only for about 5 years but glad to be back so many years later! Love the 3rd row seat. I tried to do a separate post but I guess you have to have so many other posts first? Ok, well, here's post number 1!
Looking to get new wheels and tires but will probably leave my suspension stock. I called two different wheel places and the first said that I could go 265-65-18 and have no worries about rubbing. Another place I called said BS, you could go 275-70-18 and no rubbing.
Any thoughts on that? My main thing is I want to keep the suspension stock and I want absolutely no rubbing with aftermarket wheels and tires.

Those new ones are really cool looking. My 2006 has 275 R70/17s on it with no issues, I know that the BFGs will rub on the inner wheel well, not to sure about other tires though.

That's awesome. We have a place in South Lake and my 4runner has been going strong through the deep snow we've had this winter!
Right on! I'll be heading up the 50 this weekend, going to check out Sierra At Tahoe with the kids. Unfortunately I don't think i'll even get to engage the 4wd, as the temp is warming up and the roads should be clear!
