thanks, and yes its pretty perfect. the guy bought it used in 1992 and meticulously maintained it. i have literally every document for everything that has ever been done to it. including a brand new 1990 brochure and even the la times newspaper that had the classified ad from 1992 that he saw it in and purchased from. everything on it is perfectly stock including the factory upgrade wheels(which id never seen before), and actual an option where it has two spare tires(on back and underneath, both of which have never been taken off) to all of the dealer installed options like window deflectors, brushgaurd, and even these tinted maroon clip on headlight covers(also never knew existed).

What is that saying? Without pictures we don't believe it. I don't believe it with pictures! Wow! Very nice!

First and Foremost; Welcome to Classic T4r! I have not come across many classic T4r's, or trucks in that good condition without having been gone thru and reconditioned. Clearly the PO had taken meticulous care; must be single, seem to recall I was able to hold off the 'no food or drink' rule couple weeks before the family member's tossed out the rule. With my limited experience I have found this forum very helpful and knowledgeable members. Again, welcome, looking forward to your input!!.

Welcome. That truck looks fantastic! If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get it for? If you need any technical stuff, I've got the 4 volume factory manual set for the 1990 model year. You just don't see them that clean anymore. I love the original mats! Wish I could get a set for our truck.
regards

thanks i appreciate it. i probably overpaid for it, i got it for 5k. the guy wasn't budging below that and wouldve never sold it for less so i was fine with it. And considering the condition, document history, and just everything about it in general including that fact that it's a 2 door i really didn't mind. I'm open to opinions on whether i got a good or bad deal so feel free to let me know!

i have shop manuals as well that are all brand new that came with it also. i think i may only have 2, but theyre the size of phone books. not sure if that's what you are referring to? with that said, I'm sure ill still be asking for advice! I almost forgot to mention that it came with 2 factory keyless remotes. id never seen one with keyless before and was wondering if thats common or not?

i may still have a full complete set of very clean original mats from a 2nd gen 4runner from a long time ago that i saved. if youre interested let me know which pieces youre looking for and ill see exactly what i have.

thanks man. i agree on the tastefulness, the only thing that was changed were the tinted hood and window deflectors. and the only reason for that was because they had tiny stress cracks in them and he was upset about it. BTW he also gave me the originals and they actually look really nice and perfectly usable. the originals are clear and the hood deflector has the toyota logo etched in the center. i thought it was pretty neat that he hung onto all that original stuff.

amazing. i would throw those things on asap. make that a moving classic time capsule. i wish i could find oem window visors for my 3rd gen.

i just scored a used hood protector from craigslist with some tasteful scratches and use marks for cheap as hell and got the mounting hardware from the dealer. i love the etch on it also.

yeah I'm not sure exactly what ill do just yet, but ill definitely be hanging on to them one way or the other. i did have a plan of doing some fairly substatial things when i bought it, but now I'm not sure because it will be very hard to modify this from stock.
