Just sold a 93 FJ80 with about 3000 dollars worth of work needed and bought a 97 4runner for 4000. Everything under the hood was new and it runs like new...paint new, tires not so new, but what a great truck. And acceleration improvement over the FJ is amazing. No more expensive maintenance items to drain my pockets, so I will put it into a OME lift and a winch.
And the deal just got better because I just learned that timing belts on these 3.4L engines are non interferance! Gotta love toyota!
