DOOO besides from how huge the truck looks! look at that frame! i could use that as a mirror in the moring! what did you do!

looks damned good bro!!! what you doing about the front bumper situation???

POR-15 on the frame and stuff...looks real glossy and is bulletproof

yes very very nice to see a rig with POR on it. gonna be doing that treatment soon but want to see what the results are like after a while to make up my mind.

How hard was the prep for the POR-15?

because the frame was very clean with very little rust, the prep was not too bad...it's a 3 step process using a cleaner, a prepping solution, then the paint can be either sprayed or brushed on. I sprayed most of it and used a brush in some places also. I have used it before and it is fantastic stuff. a little pricey, but worth it. imho

Did you remove or at least lift the body? Mine is starting to show some surface rust will probably do this later down the road.

Thanks

no, I did not remove the body from the frame...after the 2" body lift, there is quite a bit of room to get a brush where you need it. I would suggest wearing some disposable overalls and gloves when doing this job. you will get filthy cleaning everything up, and try not to get POR-15 on anything you don't want to because it wont come off...

Looks really good man, what size tires?

315/75r16 Toyo M/T

I debated what tire to get over and over...I am super pleased with these. they are very quiet for a M/T and handle great on the road and in the rain. I have been on a few light trails but nothing major. I think they will do great on any terrain.
