New member with a 4Runner (though not my first)

Hey there, names Josh, and I just picked up a 2005 4Runner SR5 4WD in black a few hours ago. I scored a very clean inside and out 1 owner truck with 73,000 miles on it and full service records. I had been searching for the past few weeks for either a 3rd gen or 4th, and must have looked at over 20 trucks. Most were in bad shape, smoker vehicles, rusty, or just otherwise not very nice.

About 6 years ago I had a 2000 4Runner SR5, and before that I had a 99 Tacoma TRD. I recently sold my Chevy pickup and am back on the Toyota wagon. I plan to do an OME lift with some slightly larger tires and enjoy this truck for years to come.

Welcome back to the family. The 3rd Gen is always a solid route if you can find one you like. Anyhow, welcome and look forward to the pictures(Just note: we are picture whores around hear always)

Thanks guys. I really wanted another 3rd gen. Especially one with a 5 speed manual. However everything I found was either too expensive, or too rusty. To be honest, I really wanted an 85 with the 22RE and the solid axle, but I need a 4 door so I can put the kid back there. Maybe down the road I can get one as a trail rig.
