Hi all,

I just joined this forum today after recently purchasing a 1998 White 4Runner Limited 2WD 3.4L V6 w/TRD Supercharger. I love it so far! Ever since I drove my friend's '98 4Runner, I've had my sights on them but, up until recently, I didn't have the funds to trade in my '02 Nissan Sentra SE-R and buy one.

As if through some divine intervention, I was driving my SE-R and was t-boned going through an intersection, totaling the vehicle (thankfully, no one was injured), resulting in a fat insurance check worth way more than my SE-R would've ever pulled in. In hindsight, that car accident was the best thing that could've happened because now I have a 4Runner!

I really like all the pics I've seen so far. Glad to see there are thousands of others out there with great trucks and a passion for this vehicle. I'll have some pictures up soon. Can't wait to start posting!

bummer about the car accident, but atleast you benefited and are positive! reminds me of the dude in officespace :-D

hows that supercharger?

Thanks man. I'm glad I didn't end up has injured as the guy from Office Space, though!

The supercharger is awesome! When I drive my friend's naturally aspirated 4Runner it pales in comparison. With mine, once you get up to around 2700 rpms, it starts to get that boost whine, then takes off. Out here in Arizona where most of the surface streets are essentially 6 lane highways and the speed limits are all 45+ mph, it's good to have that extra boost. I haven't really noticed any decrease in gas mileage either with the supercharger. My buddy gets about the same with his NA 4Runner.
