From what I've seen on this thread and others, it seems like myself, tuxedo runner, and gm350reratliff and all interested in going to ouray for the summit this year. It's July 20-24. I think registration is on April 2. Anyone else planning on heading up there? My family and I are planning on staying at twin peaks. Wife wasn't interested in camping with a baby!
 
Yes, I'm planning on going to the Summit this year. Hopefully, I can grab a spot come April. My wife, kids, and my folks are also coming. Even my sister may go this year. Definitely looking forward to it even though not even half the stuff I planned for my 4runner will be done. Hell, I might even take both 4runners this year. We are staying at Simba suites (my wife is not really into camping either but I'm working on that).

Looks like the weekend of the 23-24th right now. No destination picked yet but Mt. Taylor was mentioned. I can keep you folks informed if you wish.
 
I've been looking into planning a trip up to that event but it is around when my family is also visiting family out east. I will have to see how I'm going to work it out. I may just send the family early and catch up with them later.
 
I have a FREE 2011 Trail Edition 4runner factory roof rack if anyone is interested. I bought a rack from drabbits and have no need for the factory one.

Is this rack all black? Is it in good shape? I may take you up on this if it is. I also want to go with an aftermarket rack but funds are somewhat limited at the moment. For now I would just like the rack on my 5th gen to be all black but I'm not sure if plastidip or paint would stick to it very well.

It is all black and in decent shape considering its 5 years old. There is one guy ahead of you so I'll let you know if he does not grab it.
 
Anyone want to go on a run Sunday the 28th? I was thinking either the puerco or even some Jemez trails if anyone knows some good ones.

I would be interested. I love the Jemez but I am still a little traumatized from the last time I was out there with [MENTION=100711]cmitch[/MENTION]. Let me know and I'll do either.

Hey guys, I'm driving from Manhattan, KS to Colorado Springs, CO to Las Cruces, NM over spring break. Have any suggestions for rural or minimum maintenance routes?

Hey if any of you guys know anyone that is interested in an older Runner let me know. I got an assignment sending me back overseas, I think it came because I started planning on going up to Colorado for that FJ meet. Anyways here is the CL post.

Nope, it will be in a couple weeks. Probably around the 13th, then the weekend after I'll be there again.

Currently I'm looking at kind of just blindly driving through, but making sure I cut through Cedro Peak, Monticello Canyon, Caballo Lake Trail, and Upper Broad Canyon Trail. Heading way from Colorado Springs, I plan to take Phantom Canyon Road.

Let me know if you have suggestions.

Hey guys--

Thought I'd get some advice and start here with this before plopping it in the main FS forum and/or craigslist. I just picked up a white 5th gen to replace the zoski mobile (diagnosed blown head gasket), and need to make room in my driveway so old girl's gotta go. Looking for opinions on what I should ask, and seeing if anyone from NM wants a rig with a lot of low mileage suspension parts, maintainance records, etc. Take a look at my build thread for the write up and some pics. Thanks for any advice/opinions, and let me know if any of you Nuevo Mexicanos wanna jam by to take a look...
