no, no... redneck/white trash is an exhaust held together with clamps, or just a straight pipe... unless it has a turbo gasoline engine. diesels don't count.

that's where getting your quotes from a muffler shop or private mechanic will help.

I just don't see the point in spending the extra cash for a long lasting stock size muffler just for the noise. there are flowmaster knockoffs that will sound the same.

keep in mine parts quality in general has gone down the drain. your flowmaster knockoff may very well be the same one as the real deal but without the logo stamped into it.

LOL I would LOVE a borla exhaust.... but not for $600 bucks.

Don't ever waste your money on a complete exhaust system like they make for most trucks/SUV's unless you have cash to burn or most of your system is rusted out and want to upgrade to stainless. If you want a Borla muffler go spend the $100 on an XR-1 or ProXS muffler and have it put in place of your stock muffler.

Especially don't buy a cat back since the cat is one of the most restrictive parts of the exhaust next to a stock muffler.

factory cats still allow 150% exhaust flow for the factory exhaust

I will echo the sentiments above

Catback systems are great if you have the money, but you can just pick up a nice Borla muffler and tip get it welded on and everything for less than half the catback cost....and no one will know a difference
