New ORP shopping - another question about finding a rear cargo deck

We are in the San Francisco Bay Area and trying to find an ORP with the slide out cargo deck. One dealer said he had only seen ONE Trail Edition that had it in all the 4Runners that had come through their dealership in the last year. Are rear cargo Decks that rare in your area? Obviously going to ask around other dealers, but am I searching for a Unicorn?.

Bummer to hear that. I think they are a worthwhile add-on.
Three benefits:
#1 Makes loading heavy objects easier on your back, and less likely to ding the rear bumper.
#2 Gives you a truly flat floor with the back seats folded down for sliding an ice chest in or for sleeping
#3 Gives you a virtual tail Gate for sitting on or as a workspace

Wish my SR5P came with a cargo deck. I loved it on my Pro.

Went in person to talk to my local dealer. He said he had never gotten one in with it, and all of his future allocations did not come with one. He said I could order one, but custom orders are running 4-6 MONTHS, vs 1-2 months for snagging one without from his allocation waiting list. :decision:. I would wait for a custom build if it weren't putting us at the end of summer for delivery :moping:.
