So I picked up my first 4Runner a couple of weeks ago. Found a really nice 2007 V8 Limited with 67K miles. White with stone interior. Drove her home from a dealer 850 miles away from me, so I got some real seat time right off the bat. The truck is really fantastic in every way, but the fuel economy. I had to have the V8 (pull a 18 foot boat) so I don't really care about the fuel economy. I do have a couple of thoughts about the truck.
1- It really needs new interior dome lights, so dark I cant find the door handle. I will order up some new DE3175 leds in the future.
2- Does the sunroof switch illuminate or should it be dark?
3- The stock tires look really bad. Need to order a more aggressive all terrain tires, but was thinking spacers may help with the stance until the Michelin's go bad. What is everyones thoughts on the look of the 18's with a 1.25" spacer?
4- Figured the headlights could be better and installed DDM HID lows and fogs. Made a huge difference, still working on aiming low beams. Thanks for the opinions, the forum has been a great help so far.
