I just purchased a 2001 SR5 4Runner and just love it. It's got 239,000 and starts and runs great every time. I know it was just service in Aug of last year (2014), but planning on taking it to the Toyota dealership tomorrow and get all the fluids changed and have them look over it. I can do all the follow on maintenance after that on my own, but really want the pros to look over it the fist time.
We're going to use it as a third vehicle to run the dog around and take to the beach. I wanted a 4WD so I could lift, but couldn't pass up this deal and she's in great condition.
This forum is a great place to get new ideas, I'll be installing a transmission cooler next month to avoid the strawberry milkshake, but that's all I can see right now.
