New owner tire and rim size question

I just bought a 2002 4runner sport it has 265 70 16 and I found a set of BBS Wheels that are 17" with 265 70 17 will these fit without lifting or trimming. Thanks for responses in advance!

should fit unless the back spacing is way off try one on first

I concur.... just make sure the backspacing doesn't "F" things up for you....

Those should fit. They are made for Toyota, and I've seen a 3rd Gen with them on...I actually think they were 18s, but the 17s should fit as well. And that is a hell of a deal.

As others have mentioned, it all depends on the backspacing. But I think you will be fine.
I had 265/75/16 on my 97 - overall diameter = 31.64"
The 265/70/17 - overall diameter = 31.60"

But I also think the 02 4Runner was not as high as the 97, so again test fit them if you can.

Well guys thanks for the info. But this guy finally responded to emails says he has been out of town since he listed and now says he sold them to neighbor!! I think he realized he under priced and will relist later :hunter:....... So I am looking for (4) 265 70 16 tires with good tread. This is a back up ride for me. Let me know if you see any posted or have any for sale.
