New owner

I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks,as I was trying to find out as much information as possible on the 4runner...well,last week I took a plunge on a 2005 with...18K! yes 18K! it runs and drives like a dream,everything seems to work,including the 4Hi and 4Lo...I'll be sure to engage both functions on a monthly basis.I also purchased,and installed the Husky liners,ordered the Wade window visors,ordered the steering wheel leather cover as recommended by a couple of members on this forum, and don't plan on doing any other purchases for the time being.Oh!,I already purchased the light bulbs for the back of the info display,as the current bulb keeps on flashing for no apparent reason.
I hope to learn a lot from this site and hopefuly will exchange info and ideas with you all. This site is a great technical resource for older or newer owners alike.

welcome...lots of good info on here. You can find most of the info here first with a search. Also there are lots of good info on toyota120.com too. 120 is mainly geared towards offroading.

18K. Pretty low mikes for an 05. I actually bought my 05 Sport back in the spring of 2008 with just over 18K. It was basically new inside and out and exceptionally clean. Just passed the 50K mark about a week ago. It's been hard to see another one like mine from that year with such low miles until now. Welcome!! And congrats on the the purchase.
