new pads

just got my new pads installed, all ebc greenstuff front and rear 6000's series, big improvement for me, no need to step to hard on the pedal. also the stock had a lil over 1/8 inch left in the front and the rear look like it had about 1/4 inch left, did i measure it right, since i measure on the brake material? is it to early for a change? my truck has about 63000 on it. looking at the mechanic working on the brake look easy, simple tools were used, like a channel lock pliers, a pry bar, and a needle nose pliers, they did both front and back in 45 mins with the removal and rotating my tires. i think on the next change, ill do it myself.

:bigok:I've used the Greenstuff and liked them a lot. Nice choice. Very sticky with no need to warm them up.

Your right, it is an easy DIY job on the 4Runner.

Whats green stuff ? (you can laugh LOL!)

Is it a brand? is it ceramic? green in color?

Many recommend OEM pads..but hows the brake dust in this green stuff thing? and where can I get it? thanks

been running the ebc green stuff pads and rotors on my 04 sport for about 4 yrs now and luv em. dont have any problems with brake dust on the wheels.
