New paint is in the budget, I need some suggestions...

Recently I got my whitson metalworks rack painted by one of my dads buddies who did it for the cost of the paint. He's not gonna hook me up so fat on the whole truck but he's going to give me a good deal. Anyone who's seen my truck knows the paint is piss poor, I'll post up some pictures in the day light tomorrow but my hood is in real tough shape and the doors and quarterpanels look like I have about 150 angry ex-girlfriends. With my new internship icome it's looking like I'm going to be able to do the deed when I visit the homestead durring Christmas break. For a while I just thought about just repainting it the stock black mainly because that was just with the hood in mind but know that I can get the whole thing painted I'm thinking I wanna go with something new.

I only have a few Ideas, mainly from other paint option threads on here but I can't decide/ haven't seen too many repainted anything other than the stock colors.



Some info:
1.Interior is grey, dark grey and black
2. I want to keep the copper wheels

one color I really like is this one got it from [MENTION=6721]4running[/MENTION]_daily :

I also really like the color [MENTION=95329]txbonds[/MENTION] painted his and it kinda looks cool with the black paint on the inside

but I kinda want to keep my copper/goldish wheels haha

And ever since my brother has been my brother I've wanted his land cruiser/ wanted to paint my 4runner the same color. Might be too out there though I'm not sure, this isn't his but his is the same color and doesn't look too different from this one. He's got a roof rack, snorkle and a real life front bumper but thats about it

Those are really the only too I've seen that I like so far...open to suggestions

I like the matte black color given your rims and interior color.

If you keep the wheels then I'm thinking you need to keep with darker color. Greens, Grays, blacks. I love the flat colors. BMW does an amazing job with their "frozen" paints. It has the clear mixed in with the paint so you can wash it like a normal car just cant wax/polish it. I love that Tacoma color, is that Toyota factory?

that's just too easy though haha I wan't to do something different, I've had my 4runner for almost 6 years now and I couldn't sell it for what I've put into it, already been decided I'm driving it out of college so yeah...unless I can't decide upon another option, I don't want to go with the OEM black

Pretty sure it's not an OEM paint color it might be though...something about the picture the more I look at it makes me think its a wrap though. but I definitely like the color. I need someone photoshop enabled haha

I'm having some real inner-turmoil about that one haha I love it but at the same time my truck has never really "shined" and trust me I've washed and waxed the shit out of it and that matte color wouldn't shine either no matter how freakin cool the color is haha

Id keep it black, or maybe the dark green would look ok, but I don't like to open the doors or hood and see a different color.

I say if you want some added shine, have some flake added to some black paint.

I saw an FJ that was this color the other day, it looks A LOT better in pictures, in person it's a pretty dull color.

That lexus charcoal you posted would look great though IMO.

This may sounds way from left field but I saw a fixed up fj60 in periwinkle blue and it looked freaking amazing!
