New paint problem

I feel like I am back at square one, Im worried that if I take it to the other shop in Denver Im going to get charged for something and it won't be paid by my insurance. But I dont want to take it back to the painter with the shitty attitude. I feel like everyone involved is against me.....maybe I need to get a lawyer, I pay ALOT of money for insurance and they dont seem to care.
Shoot they took better care of us when my husband hit somebody and totaled our car.
Im suppose to take it to Denver in the morning, should I still take it??

I would ask the Denver shop if the window is a result of the back hatch repair. If it is ask if they will repair it.

Most of all I would discuss payment expectations. You are expecting it all to be covered because it the poor quality but you don't know what they are expecting.

Better to ask before they start work than being upset later.

i agree 100%. the possible charges or lack of charges for the work they are going to do should have been brought up when they were looking at the vehicle prior to the appt being made.

if these shops are "preferred shops" of the insurance company you should contact them also. our preferred shops carry a lifetime warranty and we stand behind the repairs also for life.

I took it over the shop this morning to have them look at the window and the said its NOT loose. It says in the owners manual that your not suppose to drive with the back window down so theres really nothing they can do about it......I took it to Toyota my favorite people that know me by name and they are going to fix it for me (at my one expense) but at least I know its fixed the right way.

As for Carstar...I am washing my hands of them, do NOT go to them or refer anyone you know to them.

I am done with all the problems they have caused me and my poor 4runner, I am learning from my mistake and moving on with my life. I don't know if you can remove this thread but Im done posting in it.

Now on to better things!! Friday I am going to remove the running boards, wash & wax, vacuum & armor all it, change the cabin air filter and if I get the nerve maybe plasti dip the emblems.

Thank you all for your help, insight, and listening to my complaints.
