New project

The SAW's were starting to get mushy and close to being maxed out for lift so rather than putting $$ into them to get stiffer coils and get them re-valved, I opted to get new coilovers. I went with King remote resi's in the front, and will get King resi's for the rear in the near future. I had these made with stiffer coils to handle to added weight of the bumper, winch, and dual battery.

Hey I recognize that driveway, house and many of those tools....

Looks good! Hopefully we can figure something out for the Resi problem

Hopefully that will all get sorted out on Tuesday.

My Icons are laying downstairs, so when I eventually order the Kings for the rear it'll be time for another wrenching session. Of course it'll only take us a fraction of the time as the front. I think I am going to wait and do the springs/shocks at the same time though.

So I take it that you are doing the rear shocks soon then?

Is this a 4 day timeframe or 3 months :lmao:

Winch will most likely be this week. The rear shocks have no planned date yet, but perhaps the beginning of September. The fridge and dual battery might still be a little while.

I love your truck man! Im sold on that lift height and tire size now for sure
and oh yah...BAD ASS Runner!!!

Thanks guys! :guitar2:

Kind of OT but $1800 on a new camera lens? You buying some L glass?

I don't shoot Canon. The only thing Canon I have is my camera bag and that's only so people don't steal my gear. :D

Just kidding. I shoot Nikon though, and the next lens I have on my list is a 70-200 f/2.8 and a 1.7x teleconverter.

My gear right now is a D300 with a battery grip, 18-200, 12-24 f/4, and a few other things so I need a good telephoto.

Update:

Warn M8000 winch installed:

About 10 minutes after UPS dropped it off I had the steel cable off already:

I didn't have anyone to help me. At first I thought it would be near impossible because you have to hold the winch on it's side (the bottom of the winch mounts facing forward) while also holding the nut on the inside; all while trying to tighten the bolt.
But that was nothing a strap and a clove hitch couldn't solve:

Winch mounted:

Synthetic line and solenoid mounted. The solenoid is mounted to the left but it got cut out:

Everything installed and wired:

sweet! Im thinking about shrockworks bumper too. I just so tired of people bumping in to my bumper in parking lots. It was replaced once and got it painted twice already, I need another paintjob because someone scratched it again :redbrick:

People will be a little more cautious around your rig if you get one. :pimp:
